This evening I attended The Whistler to check out The Thin Cherries. I had interviewed them some time ago at Radio One Chicago. I finally had the chance to see them live. While I wanted to get more pictures of the band, I was approached by a patron asking me to not use my flash because it was making her ill.
While I did continue to shoot, the lighting in the room is very low with a red tinge. I didn’t feel that posting any of the other shots without flash would be flattering to the band.
Sadly, I didn’t get a chance to take pictures of the drummer or keyboardist. Hopefully, I catch them again soon.
