At the beginning of each school year, Northeastern Illinois University puts on a celebration welcoming its incoming freshmen. The event is not only a display of hospitality but also to show off the many student groups that are available for them to join.
I was in attendance as part of the Graduate Alliance of Student Social Workers, where we teamed up with ASSW to give out information about our two social work clubs at NEIU.
