I didn’t feel like going out, but Jeanine somehow convinced me to be outside. We turned it into an impromptu photo shoot that evening. Thankfully, this is the lighting that most dream about. With the help of the buildings and the setting sun, we were able to get great natural lighting.
Look at that bhoka! I was not exactly sure how they would come out. I’m still trying to get the best focus along with the best bhoka as possible. With the lighting, I was able to use a 3.2 aperture on all the photos.
As the light started to dwindle, we called it a night. I didn’t want to change my ISO setting. I also wanted the consistency of color with these sets of pictures. Had I continued to shoot, the color tone in the pictures would have started to cool.
Though I didn’t want to leave the house, I’m glad I did. I’m really happy with the way these pictures turned out. I didn’t have to do any real color adjustments, which is always nice.
I do eventually plan on investing and learning a program for editing. I have yet to decide which I will use. In the meantime, I’ll just keep looking for the best natural lighting I can get.
