Desirae has been spending her quarantine with family, working from home and making time to enjoy the things that she didn’t get to do during busy commutes. She has been thankful for being able to give more attention to self care, play games with her family, video chat her boyfriend, enjoy Netflix and virtual friend hangouts when she’s not working. She’s been doing the best she can in this pandemic.
I met Desirae through the ENLACE program at Northeastern Illinois University. Desirae has shown herself to be an expert in student engagement. She always brings professionalism and a warmheartedness to class.
