The familia Sancen-Cruz goes about their day in quarantine safe and happy. These two love birds just got married in December of 2019, and while domestic violence has increased since quarantine these two have created a home of love and happiness.
Charlie
Carlos and Alecxis (Charlie and Alec) go about their day playing video games such as Animal Crossing, Splatoon Xenoblade Chronicles, and Final Fantasy.
I met Charlie through the ENLCE program. He is a character! Our cohort has a chat group that we use to keep each other up to date with assignments. You can often find Charlie cracking a massive amount of jokes about the intensity of the work we are given.
During class I had mentioned that I do photography. He asked if I would take photos of him. I agreed to it, but he was very quiet on the details. A couple of days before the photoshoot, he lets me know that he’s getting married and wanted me to take pictures. I was so nervous!
The event turned out to be a lot of fun and we went around downtown Chicago to grab a bunch of pictures afterward. I’m really thankful that I was able to be part of their day.
