Alisha originated from the Navajo Reservation. She used her traditional upbringings of respecting Mother Earth and all of her wonders to inform her creative process. Alisha uses art and design in all aspects of her life, including work and creative endeavors.
As a landscape designer, she continues to learn how to build healthier communities and absorb information provided by our ecological communities. by always respecting Mother Earth. Before coming to the Midwest, she was learning about the Sonoran Desert’s landscape blooms.
Now as a Chicago resident, she’s learning the seasonal blooms from bulbs, perennials, shrubs, and trees. In her small business, Alisha looks for new ways to upcycle materials and reduce waste.
