On social media you always see photographers walking around asking random people if they would be willing to do a photo shoot. It is something that I had always wanted to try. As I was on my way home, I saw these three ladies taking photos of each other with their phones. I decided I was going to build up the courage to ask them if they would like me to take photos of them.
Now, the biggest challenge for me was how to approach them in a meaningful and respectful way. I can only imagine some random person saying that they’ll take a photo of you, then bust out a semi-professional camera.
The ladies were super sweet and very gracious. We had a lot of fun taking the photos. They were so kind and really funny. They were able really let themselves go and follow suggestions. While I really love the individual photos I took of them, the best experience was taking the group photo of them walking together. Just seeing how well they loved and interacted with each other really made the photo stand out.
