Families gathered at La Brocha this month for a special event supporting Latinas/os living with Alzheimer’s disease and Parkinson’s disease.
Together, they created colorful flowers from pipe cleaners—simple materials that became a space for connection, creativity, and joy.
I had the honor of documenting these moments: loved ones laughing over shared projects, hands working together to shape each stem and petal, and the quiet tenderness that filled the room.
