Alisha and Rob bonded early on through art music film and played a game of long-distance relationship tag in the West before settling down together here in Chicago. They are currently in massive debt to a talking raccoon in a Hawaiian shirt. Send fruit and bells.
Rob
I met Rob when he was just a little kid. He is my my high school friend Gil’s cousin. They lived in the same building and he would come down to see what we were doing. As life tends to go, we slowly lost touch.
I met Alisha when she and Rob were visiting Chicago a few years back. The moment I saw them together, I could tell how deeply they care for each other.
More recently, the couple has joined Radio One Chicago. While that has been a lot of fun, what has been really special is getting to know them outside of the show. Before the epidemic we would hang out at least once a week, catching up about life, music, and art.
My two newest friends feel like some of my oldest friends.
