Rita & Nick Jung with their dog, Seamus. They have been married for 50 years and in the same house for 47. Both are retired and living the good life. The Coronavirus has kept them home but they are looking forward to better times.
Rita
Aunt Rita and Uncle Nick have been part of my life since day one. They are my godparents. Uncle Nick would always give my brother and I noogies, especially my brother. One of my earliest memories is being in the backseat of Aunt Rita’s car during the blizzard of ’78. It was a red car. I also remember the Bee Gees when being in that car. Memories can be weird and unexplainable.
As some of us do, as I got older… I tended to distance myself from people who love me. Luckily, within recent years, I have had small opportunities to reunite with Aunt Rita and Uncle Nick. I now treasure the time I get to spend with them when I visit them.
Seamus is a pretty sweet dog, too.
