Dalila, Daniel, & their three children are originally from Humboldt Park and decided to move to the suburbs. As a family they enjoy going on long walks, especially to the bakery and ice cream shops downtown! Excited about their new life in their new home they especially love how spacious their backyard is. That yard has saved these parents on many days in which all the wiggles needed to be released. The kids jump on their trampoline, play basketball, or simply run around while mom and dad turn the grill on and prepare dinner.

Dalila is one of my ride-or-die friends. I met her while working at Drummond. We often went to lunch together and made work a lot of fun. Eventually, we convinced each other to get our Masters of Social Work degree together from Northeastern Illinois University.
Though stressful at times, we made it. In the processes she has become a sister that I never had.
