I’ve been trying to get out a little more while I still have time to do so. After posting on FB that if I were to be listed, I’d be willing to come photograph a show. I was invited by Vamos to check out their show opening up for Slave’s post-Lollapalooza show.
This was my second attempt at using a flash during a show. I feel that it went a little better than the last time. I used a rear sync flash setting to try to get some of the stage lighting in the pics. Also, I had a modifier on the flash, which got me paranoid because I didn’t want to blind the audience.
The show was pretty packed so it was a little difficult to move around in the venue. There were a few shots that I cropped to get a more pleasing picture. I think overall, the shots came out decent. The band’s energy and stage performance really helped make the night easy.
