As with every show at Liar’s Club, the night didn’t get started until at least 11pm. Hot Lips Messiah has been on the scene for a fairly long time, but this was my first chance to ever see them.
It’s fairly dark at Liar’s Club, and I didn’t get permission early on from the band to take their pictures, so I didn’t use my flash. I bumped up the ISO and went from there. The camera works fairly well at low lighting, and the grain isn’t terrible on the pics. I was struggling with focusing a lot. I was bouncing between different settings to see which worked best. I still need to work on positioning and locking down the focus.
